Players Age

Players must be in grades 9, 10 or 11

Equipment

Tryouts - Athletic wear, water bottle, cleats. Optional: mouthguard, gloves

Season - All required football equipment is provided, with the exception of cleats and a girdle, which are the responsibility of the player

Season

The Spring football season starts in March and runs through May, including playoffs

Games are typically played on Thursday or Friday at Shouldice

Practices

Practices will begin in March, once the team is picked and will be held three times per week:

On Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday if the game is Thursday or

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday if the game is scheduled on Friday

Practices: Shriners Field - 5225 101 Street NW

Games: Shouldice Athletic Park - 1515 Home Road NW

Fees

Tryouts: players must pay the Football Alberta Insurance Fee (collected with online tryout registration payment of $85.00, due prior to beginning tryouts).

Spring football season fees will be collected once the team is selected and before equipment is issued.
